Job summary

Positive Futures in the UK is seeking a Community Support Worker to help children and young people with learning disabilities, brain injury or autism live the life they want. You don't need formal qualifications or prior experience—just kindness, patience and a sense of fun.

You’ll support access to social and community activities, help build independence at home and in the community, and keep simple records. A full, paid induction is provided, plus ongoing team support.

Qualifications

• Personal or work experience of providing care or support for someone
• Hold a Full, Valid UK/EU/EEA Drivers Licence with access to a car insured for business purposes

Responsibilities

• Support access to social, leisure and community activities for the person
• Help the person build independence at home and in the community
• Maintain accurate records (logs, charts, incident reports) as needed
• Follow safeguarding and risk management policies
