Job summary

Advance is hiring a Support Worker in Hackney to help customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or mental health conditions live the lives they choose. You will work 37.5 hours per week across Mon-Sun, including weekends, with days, evenings and sleep-ins.

No prior care experience is required; values, compassion and reliability matter. You will build care plans, assist with personal care, meal prep and appointments while keeping records confidential.

Qualifications

• You don't need previous care experience; values, compassion and reliability matter.
• You will need to be able to work weekends and between 7am and 10:30pm.
• Good at communicating and keeping accurate records in line with policies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (where required).
• Medication administration (where required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities and independent living skills.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required.
• Keeping up to date with training.
