Job summary

Advance is hiring a Support Worker in Poole to help people with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs live the lives they choose. The role covers personal care, meals, appointments, and daily activities, with flexible, supportive training and a chance to progress.

Qualifications

• Good at working on your own and within a team.
• Excellent at communicating with people.
• Able to follow a Care Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records.
• Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate.
• Able to work weekends and between 7am and 10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities and independent skills.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required.
• Keeping up to date with your training.
