Job summary

Blue Triangle is a social care organisation focused on empowering people experiencing homelessness by providing safe, supported accommodation and practical and emotional support to help individuals achieve personal outcomes.

Two full-time Support Worker roles at the Wemyss House Service in Port Seton require rota coverage including weekends. The team emphasises dignity, respect, and continuous professional development with funded SVQ3 and 24/7 employee support services.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with vulnerable people (personal, voluntary or professional).
• Ability to follow Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) code of practice and National Care Standards.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
• Support, monitor and evaluate progress using the case management system to achieve person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain and update recording systems and documentation within required timeframes.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with the person0support plan.
• Provide advocacy and guidance to help residents meet occupancy conditions.
