Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals in the Southside of Glasgow with daily living tasks, personal care, and community participation. The role offers day and night shifts on a rotating pattern and values a compassionate, reliable team player.

You will contribute to safe care plans, liaise with health professionals, and maintain accurate records while benefiting from training, pension, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work as part of a team and lone working; take initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Enhanced PVG required (we will support the application process)

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with personal care, medication, cooking, and household tasks
  • Enable involvement in the local community and promote independence
  • Support with making and attending health care appointments
  • Communicate with medical professionals and implement support plans and risk assessments
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided
  • Communicate effectively with the team, family members

Support Worker
Location: Southside of Glasgow
Contract:Part time - 30 hours (Day & Night shift available) /Relief
Pay:£13.45per hour

Shift Patterns
Day Shift Patterns (Rota Basis) - 9am - 3pm, 9am - 9pm, 8am - 9pm (Flexibility to cover night shifts is essential.)
Night Shift (Fixed) - 9pm - 8am
