RTC Resources Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist individuals with complex needs in a busy care setting. You will work within an enhanced staffing team and follow care plans to promote dignity and independence.

The role requires calm handling of behavioural challenges, risk assessments, and adherence to safeguarding. Training and ongoing development are provided, with opportunities in DMI and other physical intervention training.

Qualifications

• Previous UK care/support experience involving complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
• Enhanced staffing experience (3:1, 4:1 or 5:1) or comparable intensive support setting.
• Practical experience responding to physical aggression and behavioural escalation.
• Confidence following detailed support plans and working within a team.
• Sound safeguarding awareness and professional boundaries.

Support Worker - Complex Needs | Birmingham

£14.50 per hour | Permanent | 36-48 hours per week

Are you an experienced Support Worker who can remain calm under pressure and provide consistent, compassionate care?

RTC Resources is recruiting on behalf of a specialist care provider in Birmingham. You will support individuals with complex needs, emotional regulation difficulties and behaviours that challenge, working within an enhanced staffing team that may include 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 support.

The role

DMI/Dynamis training is highly desirable. PMVA or other recognised physical intervention training may be accepted following review, with further training and competency assessments where required.
