Dimensions in Loughor is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist two women in their 30s and 40s with learning disabilities. The role involves personal care, daily living support, and driving duties using the home's disability vehicle. Training and ongoing support are provided to develop skills in complex care.

No prior social care experience is required, but you should be reliable, empathetic, and dedicated to helping residents live independently in a caring, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with people who have complex needs.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations.
• Basic IT skills to use digital systems for recording notes and training.

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centred support with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support therapy activities and complex health needs.
• Assist with mobility using specialist equipment and ceiling track hoists.
• Drive the home's automatic disability vehicle for activities/outings (full UK driving licence required).
• Work as part of a team with no lone working and contribute to a safe, supportive environment.
