Job summary

Dimensions is a not-for-profit organisation in Swansea seeking a Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities and autism live fulfilling lives. The role is full-time, on-site, with a salary of £13.45 per hour and a requirement for a driving licence to support community activities.

Based at our home on Loughor Road, you will work with five residents, building relationships and promoting independence. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• You don't need previous care experience; the right values matter.
• Strong use of basic IT for training and notes.

Responsibilities

• Support five gentlemen aged 20s–40s with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD or learning disabilities.
• Promote independence, help with daily routines and choice.
• Engage in social activities, hobbies, and outings with residents.
• Assist in developing independence in a resident in a self-contained annex.
