Prosperity Care & Wellbeing Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a lady with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism and mental health challenges. You will provide person-centred support, encourage independence, and help manage distress with calm, proactive approaches.

The role includes assisting with daily living, community activities, appointments, and promoting wellbeing, while maintaining a supportive team environment and upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needs.
• Confidence in managing behaviours that challenge calmly and positively.
• Ability to recognise triggers and support emotional wellbeing.
• Proactive approach to promoting independence and daily living skills.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to support community activities, appointments, and daily tasks.
• Positive attitude, patience and a good sense of humour.
• Flexibility to work as part of a dedicated support team.
• A full UK driving licence is essential, as driving is required.
