Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd is seeking a dedicated support worker for our residential children’s services in Rushden. You will help children feel safe, valued, and supported across daily routines, education, and personal development in a caring home environment.

The role involves planning activities, encouraging independence, and working as part of a supportive team. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with opportunities to progress and gain funded qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Willing to complete Level 3 Diploma.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building with young people.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Position: support worker - Children's services

Location: Rushden (NN10 postcode)

Hours: 42 hours per week

Pay: £13.45 - £13.70 per hour dependant of qualifications

About The Service

Blossom House is a newly renovated four bedroom “home from home” located in Rushden. Specialising in supporting children with learning disabilities to ensure they receive the best quality of care. We promote and encourage independence and provide opportunities to grow and develop. We are a highly experienced team with extensive knowledge in understanding the children within our care.
