Job summary

Blossom House in Rushden seeks a Team Leader for Children's residential care. You will lead a small team, support young people with learning disabilities, and promote independence within a caring, safe home environment.

The role requires a real passion for making a difference, excellent communication, and flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings and weekends. NVQ Level 3 or working towards it is essential.

  • Successful applicants will need to have experience supporting children with complex health needs. As a member of the team you will need a real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables our children and young people to be as independent as they can, learn and develop through education and experience, stay healthy and most importantly, have a fun, fulfilling life.

    You must be available to commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota basis and candidates it is essential you hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Children's Care or be working towards the qualification.

Position: Team Leader - Children's residential

Location: Rusden (NN10 postcode)

Hours: 42 Hours per week

Pay: £14.80 per hour

About The Service

Blossom House is a newly renovated four bedroom “home from home” located in Rushden. Specialising in supporting children with learning disabilities to ensure they receive the best quality of care. We promote and encourage independence and provide opportunities to grow and develop. We are a highly experienced team with extensive knowledge in understanding the children within our care.
