Job summary

Community Integrated Care is hiring for a Support Worker to help three individuals live their day-to-day lives with dignity and compassion. You will support personal care, mobility, meals, and community activities within a caring team.

The role offers guaranteed shifts, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression, with a supportive leadership and a focus on wellbeing. DBS clearance is provided free of charge.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Working closely with the Service Leader and the Support Worker team, you will be responsible for 3 individuals with support needs, our ages range from 54 to 57 to 65. Though we each face different challenges — including Dysphagia, Epilepsy, Dementia, Learning Disabilities, and incontinence — we are supported every step of the way by a compassionate, fully trained team. Our health and wellbeing are cared for with dignity and expertise, including SALT and PEG nutritional support, pressure care mattresses, and mobility aids such as hoists, overhead tracking, profiling beds, and staff-assisted wheelchairs.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting 3 Individuals to live their daily life in the way they wants to live it. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including:

• Supporting individuals with personal care and mobility
• Hoisting, Peg Feeding and SALT support
• Helping people access the community and enjoy everyday activities
• Preparing meals and drinks that meet a variety of dietary needs
• Creating a clean, friendly, and safe home environment
