Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help five residents in a multi-apartment setting. You’ll provide person-centered care, assist with daily activities, meals and health support, and help create meaningful routines for individuals with learning or physical disabilities.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. This role offers flexible shifts, ongoing training, and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care not always required; values-driven hiring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and health support to service users.
• Assist with meals, daily activities, and mobility.
• Engage in leisure and recreational activities with residents.
• Provide domestic assistance and support with daily living tasks.
• Support community engagement and maintain family relationships.
• Assist with SALT plans where required.
• Participate in moving and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting three ladies and two gents who currently live in the 5 apartments.

All the people supported at this service hold a diagnosis of a Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder or Physical Disability. Some of the people supported can at times display behaviours that can be described as challenging to services.

Our Shifts:

8am till 8pm, 8am till 10pm, 12 - 8pm, 8am till 5pm, 8am till 3pm and sleep in shifts
