Real Life Options in Turriff is seeking committed Support Workers to empower adults with disabilities to live independently. You will assist with personal care, medication administration, and daily tasks, working part-time to fit the needs of service users.

The role involves supporting with meals, budgeting, social activities, and community participation, with shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in care roles is a bonus; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, epilepsy, physical disabilities, and challenging behaviour.
• Supporting with personal care and administering medication.
• Helping with cooking, cleaning and household tasks.
• Budgeting and financial planning.
• Providing social support and enabling community participation.
• Attending team meetings and maintaining accurate records.
• Encouraging independence and enhancing quality of life.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a committed team helping adults with:

• Learning disabilities
• Mental health needs
• Autism
• Epilepsy
• Physical disabilities
• Challenging behaviour

Your day may involve:

• Supporting with personal care and administering medication
• Helping with cooking, cleaning and household tasks
• Budgeting and financial planning
• Providing social support and enabling community participation
• Attending team meetings and maintaining accurate records
• Encouraging independence and enhancing quality of life

You’ll work a variety of shifts, including early mornings (from 7:30am), evenings (until 10pm) , weekends, and public holidays. Sleepovers and waking night shifts may also be required. Every second weekend off.

Shifts & Hours

Monday, Tuesday Thursday 9.00am to 3.00 pm
