Job summary

Real Life Options in Turriff is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for weekend and holiday cover. The role involves assisting adults with disabilities, including personal care and medication administration, and enabling community participation.

You will work part-time (11 hours per week) across varied shifts, with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Full training is provided and benefits are offered by the charity.

• Previous experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a committed team helping adults with:

• Learning disabilities
• Mental health needs
• Autism
• Epilepsy
• Physical disabilities
• Challenging behaviour

Your day may involve:

• Supporting with personal care and administering medication
• Helping with cooking, cleaning and household tasks
• Budgeting and financial planning
• Providing social support and enabling community participation
• Attending team meetings and maintaining accurate records
• Encouraging independence and enhancing quality of life

You’ll work a variety of shifts, including early mornings (from 7:30am), evenings (until 10pm) , weekends, and public holidays. Sleepovers and waking night shifts may also be required. Every second weekend off.
