Job summary

CYGNET is seeking a confident Support Worker for Ducks Halt in Kirby-le-Soken, Essex. You’ll join a team delivering enhanced care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, including mental and physical health support needs. The role is 40 hours per week with career development opportunities.

You’ll provide emotional and physical support, contribute to individual plans, and help residents develop life skills to live independently. DBS check is required.

  • Empathy and patience when supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs.
  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required.
  • Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
