Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a confident Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs at Ducks Halt in Kirby-le-Soken, Essex. You will work 40 hours per week providing compassionate, person-centred support and enabling life skills in a safe environment.

DBS check is required. The role offers a supportive team, ongoing coaching and access to discounts and benefits through Cygnet’s employee programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for people in our care.
  • Offer physical and emotional support and encouragement.
  • Learn about individuals’ needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs as required.
  • Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
  • Safeguard service users and maintain a safe, clean environment.

We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You'll be working 40 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Ducks Halt.

Based in the picturesque village of Kirby-le-Soken, Essex, Ducks Halt supports adults who are living with learning disabilities and complex needs, including those who have additional mental and physical health needs, and behaviours that may challenge.

We work with each individual to ensure that their life is filled with activities that they enjoy, whilst also supporting them to develop their life skills to enable them to live independently. We encourage and enable the individuals we support to lead a full and happy life.
