Job summary

Agincare is seeking dedicated support workers for a service in Sileby, Leicestershire, supporting nine people to live as independently as possible in their own homes and local community. You will help with daily living, activities and wellbeing for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs.

Join a friendly team with fully funded training and a company pension. A minimum of 12 months right to work and a full UK driving licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
• Supporting Activities of Daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using people’s chosen methods.
• Engaging people to enhance their quality of life.
• Specialising in positive behavioural support approaches.
• Recording accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
• Team player – working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.

This is a unique service within Sileby, Leicestershire supporting 9 people, where we offer supportive living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community.

We are looking for Support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.
