Job summary

Agincare seeks a Senior Support Worker for its Wiltshire service in Devizes. You will supervise hands-on support and lead administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations, reporting to the Registered Manager. This is a full-time, impactful role with opportunities to influence outcomes.

We support up to 38 people across 7 bungalows in Wiltshire. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months’ right to work, a full UK driving licence, and Health & Social Care Level 2 with progression to

Responsibilities

  • Encouraging people to participate in community activities and promote independence.
  • Support with activities of daily living including personal care, meals, routines and budgeting.
  • Communicate effectively using individuals' preferred methods.
  • Engage people to improve quality of life.
  • Provide positive behavioural support where needed.
  • Record accurate health changes and service user updates for management.
  • Work as part of a team and use initiative when needed.

About the people you’ll be supporting:

We support up to 38 people living across 7 bungalows in the heart of Wiltshire, just outside the market town of Devizes. This is a unique service within Wiltshire offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community. We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

Where you’ll be working: DEVIZES

This is a full‑time role where your week will be split between providing direct support on shift and also completing leadership and administrative tasks.

What is required from you?

  • Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
  • Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
  • Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
  • Team player – Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
