Job summary

Mirus Wales in Pencoed is seeking a part-time Support Worker to join a small, dedicated team. You will help people build relationships, try new activities, and feel part of their community—supporting them to live good lives.

The role is up to 20 hours per week and requires a full UK driving licence. This position is open to females due to the service needs, and you will work closely with residents and professionals to promote independence, dignity and choice while ensuring safe, supportive care

We have an excitingopportunity for a part time female Support Worker to join ourdedicated team in Pencoed working up to 20 hours per week. In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community – so that they can live good lives.

We are three ladies who live in Pencoed area in ashared house.We arelooking for asupportworker who can encourageusto do more - both inourhome andinourlocal community.

You will need to hold a full UK driving license for this role

What You'llDo

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
  • Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.
  • Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
  • Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
  • Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
