Job summary

Mirus Wales in Cardiff is hiring a Support Worker to help people build relationships, try new experiences, and live fulfilling lives. You will support individuals to engage with their communities while respecting their choices and independence.

This role is female-only. A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a manual car are required, and you will work as part of a dedicated team committed to person-centred care.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support worker to join our dedicated team in Cardiff. In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things.

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
  • Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.
  • Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
  • Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
  • Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
