Job summary

Mirus Wales in Gorseinon, Swansea is seeking a full-time female support worker to join a small, dedicated team. You will help people to build relationships, choose activities, and live as independently as possible.

We have an excitingopportunity for a Full Time Femalesupport worker to join our dedicated team in Gorseinon, Swansea. In this role, you willsupport people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community – so that they can live good lives.

You will need to hold a full UK driving license for this role.

We are three ladies in ashared house. We are looking for a support worker who is patient, encouraging, and able to build positive relationships. You will support us in a way that promotes choice, independence, and wellbeing, while helping us achieve our personal goals and enjoy meaningful experiences.

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
  • Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.
  • Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
  • Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
  • Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
