Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking a Female Support Worker in Llanfairfechan to help individuals with learning disabilities live fulfilling lives in the community. The role includes part-time and full-time hours, with sleep-ins, and requires a full driving licence.

Training is provided, and you will work in a supportive, values-driven environment. The role involves compassionate intimate care, strong communication, and teamwork, with travel expenses paid and a dedicated benefits package.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Must be female due to genuine occupational requirement.
• Ability to support intimate personal care with respect and dignity.
• Strong written communication and record-keeping skills.

As a Female Support Worker in Llanfairfechan you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support.

We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this.

Llanfairfechan, Conwy

Hours

We have both part time and full time hours, please speak to us about the hours you are looking to do. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins.

Salary

£13.59 per hour and our sleep‑in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 55p per mile

Contract

Permanent

No experience required as full training is provided. We’d love to hear from you if you:

• have patience and empathy
• can support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity
• have strong communication and teamwork skills
• are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people
• have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning
• have afull driving licence - essentialfor transporting individuals to appointments and activities
• are female (this is a genuine occupational requirement due to the nature of the role)
