Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in Llangefni is seeking a Female Support Worker to help people with learning disabilities live fulfilled lives in the community.

You will work in a role that offers both part-time and full-time hours, permanent or fixed-term contracts, with weekends and sleep-ins included. Salary: £13.59 per hour, sleep-ins £60 per night, travel expenses paid 55p per mile.

Qualifications

• No experience required as full training is provided.

As a Female Support Worker in Llangefni you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support.

We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community, as a Support Worker, you can play a vital role in this.

Role: Female Support Worker

Location: Llangefni, Ynys Mon

Hours: We have both part time and full time hours available in either permanent or fixed term contracts,please speak to us about the hours you are looking to do. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins

Salary: £13.59per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 55p per mile

Contract: Permanent or Fixed Term Contract - please have a discussion with us in regards to FTC

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you’ll actively support individuals in making their own choices and set their own goals — whether it’s everyday decisions like what to wear, eat, or do, or something bigger such as where to live, how to manage their finances, or where to go on holiday.

As a trusted Support Worker within this service you'll be encouraging the people we support to enjoy their day to day activities like going for walks on the beach or visiting the local cafe'sto more quietactivities like jigsaws. you'll empower people to follow through on these choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.
