Job summary

Agincare in Leicester is hiring a Support Worker to provide person-centred care and daily living support for individuals with learning disabilities and hearing impairments. You will help with personal care, encourage activities, and support communication using BSL where possible.

The role offers funded training up to QCF Level 5, development opportunities, and a supportive team. A UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and caring approach.
• Experience in a care or support role.
• Willingness to learn and use British Sign Language (BSL).
• Existing BSL Level 2 desirable but not essential.
• Team player who values consistency.
• Full UK driving licence.
• At least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK.
• Excellent career development opportunities and fully funded training up to QCF Level 5.

For Your Support, We Offer

• £13.45 per hour for Support Workers who do not currently hold BSL (British Sign Language) Level 2. Successful candidates will complete mandatory BSL training as part of their induction.
• £14.25 per hour for Support Workers who already hold BSL Level 2 or meet the enhanced BSL requirements.

We're Looking For

You'll help with personal care and daily routines while building meaningful, lasting connections.From supporting days out in the community to holidays and new experiences, you'll ensure their care is truly person-centred, respecting their choices, promoting their safety and helping them do the things they love most.
