Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Support Worker for Harrison Court in Leicester to help individuals with learning disabilities and hearing impairments thrive and live as independently as possible. You will provide person-centred support and assist with daily routines and personal care.

You will encourage activities, support communication through British Sign Language, follow care plans, maintain records, and promote safety and wellbeing within a compassionate, values-led team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or support role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• At least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to learn and use British Sign Language (BSL).

For your support, we offer:

• £13.45 per hour for Support Workers who do not currently hold BSL (British Sign Language) Level 2. Successful candidates will complete mandatory BSL training as part of their induction.
• £14.25 per hour for Support Workers who already hold BSL Level 2 or meet the enhanced BSL requirements.

You’ll help with personal care and daily routines while building meaningful, lasting connections.From supporting days out in the community to holidays and new experiences, you’ll ensure their care is truly person-centred, respecting their choices, promoting their safety and helping them do the things they love most.
