Job summary

Cygnet Newton House is seeking a confident Support Worker to deliver outstanding care in a high-support inpatient and community rehabilitation setting near Blackpool. You will work 42 hours weekly, including days, nights and alternate weekends, contributing to discharge planning and ongoing recovery.

Join our multidisciplinary team with occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and vocational training. Candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check; flexible shifts and supportive supervision

We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You'll be working 42 hours a week (to include days, nights, and alternate weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Newton House.

Cygnet Newton House offers both a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service and community rehabilitation (level 1) service for men. The service is dedicated to providing a high quality environment for promoting long-term recovery.

From admission, the team work with the men we support to maximise positive outcomes and recovery, while focusing on discharge plans to support them to move on to the least restrictive environment for them. Our dedicated clinical team provide a multi-disciplinary input including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and vocational training.

Located 1 mile from Blackpool centre, Cygnet Newton House benefits from being close to plenty of amenities. There are good public transport links in the area with regular buses to the beach and other popular locations - the bus stop is just outside the service.
