Job summary

Cygnet Victoria House in Tees Valley is seeking a confident Support Worker to deliver outstanding care in a 26-bed mental health inpatient service for men. You will work 42 hours a week, including day and night shifts, providing physical and emotional support and helping with daily living skills.

Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check and will benefit from perks such as shopping, travel and leisure discounts, healthcare and financial benefits, and Cycle to Work schemes.

We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 42 hours a week (working day shifts and night shifts), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Victoria House.

Cygnet Victoria House is a 26 bed mental health inpatient service for men. The service, split across two wards, provides a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

The ethos of our service is about assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion. With a focus on stabilisation, we will support service users to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills and prepare for independent life back in the community.
