Job summary

Leonard Cheshire in Kempston is hiring a dedicated support worker to assist up to 3 adults with physical disabilities. You will help with daily living, meals, medication, and accompany people to appointments and activities within a person-centered approach.

We offer full-time hours (37.5 per week) with a rotating rota across weekdays and every other weekend, enhanced pay for night and some weekend shifts, and a package including 28 days holiday, pension, health plan, and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Experienced support worker preferred.

• Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication.
• Encourage independence through a person-centred approach.
• Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities.
• Keep clear, accurate records.

Your working hours

We are offering full-time hours, at 37.5 hours per week. You'll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and every other weekend as part of a rota Typical shifts:

• Earlies: 7:30am - 2:30pm
• Lates: 2:30pm - 10pm

Enhanced pay

£1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.
