Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is recruiting for a care worker at our Heatherley Service in Crawley. You will support adults with physical disabilities with daily living, meals, and mobility needs in a home-like setting.

We offer 34.5 hours per week with full- or part-time options. A rota covers weekdays and weekends; you’ll be supported by comprehensive induction and training to thrive in a caring environment.

We provide specialist support across residential care, supported living, and respite services for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities. Our Heatherley Service is home to up to 42 adults with physical disabilities. Our service feels like family - relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

Your working hours We are offering full-time hours at 34.5 hours per week, but part-time options are alos available. You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota.

Typical shifts

• Days: 7.30am - 7.30pm
• Nights: 7.30pm - 7.30am

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.
