Job summary

Leonard Cheshire is seeking a dedicated Support Worker at Sobell Lodge in Kent to help adults with physical disabilities live life on their own terms. The role includes assisting with daily living tasks, supporting independence and accompanying people to appointments and community activities.

This full-time position offers shifts across early, afternoon, and evening blocks, with weekends on a rota basis and comprehensive induction and training provided to all new carers.

We provide specialist support across residential care, supported living, and respite services for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities. Nestled in a quiet village in Kent, Sobell Lodge offers a peaceful environment with access to local shops. The serene surroundings provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, away from busy city life. Your working hours We offer full-time and occasional hour contracts (full-time is 35 hrs a week). Shifts include the following: 7am -1pm, 1pm - 7pm, 4pm - 10pm and 7am - 7pm. Shifts will include working weekends on a rota basis.

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.
