Male Support Worker role in Ilkeston, DE7 8XW is a full-time position in Real Life Options providing support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. The job involves following daily plans, helping with finances, domestic tasks, and medication administration, with potential personal care and meal planning tasks.
A DBS check is required and a rota covers 7 days including weekends and evenings.

Real Life Options provide support to people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
We provide individualised support packages and promote independence to enable people to live a happy fulfilled life within their own homes. The purpose-built accommodation is made of individual apartments and purpose-built bungalows.
The service comprises of 12 apartments for people with mild learning disabilities, 4 bungalows for individuals with higher complex needs and 4 bungalows for people who display behaviours of concern.
You will be supporting individuals in their own homes to live as independently as possible, this involves;

A rewarding part of the role will be encouraging participation in activities in the local community to enhance social inclusion. Seeking new opportunities for the growth and development of the people we support which could include volunteering roles and further education access.
Working on a rota, you will be required to work weekends, evenings, bank holidays with planned time off.
Flexibility to cover any of these shift patterns over the 7 day weekly period is essential
An Enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
