Job summary

CCH is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for the Maidstone Complex SCP in Higham to join our growing complex care team. You will help a young client with cerebral palsy, assisting with PEG feeding, medication, and personal care in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care essential.
• PEG feeding and medication administration experience required.
• Moving & Handling equipment knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage PEG feeding, medications and personal care for the client.
• Support client in daily activities and social inclusion.
• Safely assist with transfers and mobility as needed.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Support Worker in this 2:1 package.

The client is a young gentleman in his mid-20s who has cerebral palsy, and due to this, the client would require management of his PEG feed, medication and personal care.

He is an avid fan of taking trips to the cinema, shopping all whilst offering that vital social inclusion.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care would be essential, especially in the following with the clinical inventions prior to be offered an interview with our package manager:

• PEG feeding
• Medication administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
