Job summary

City And County Healthcare Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a 2:1 care package for a young man in his mid-20s with cerebral palsy.

You will manage PEG feeding, administer medications and provide personal care, while supporting social inclusion and outings to cinema and shops.

Full training and paid induction are provided; DBS check is free; opportunities for career progression within the group.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care would be essential.
PEG feeding, medication administration and moving & handling equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide PEG feeding support and monitor intake.
Administer medications as prescribed.
Assist with personal care and mobility.
Promote social inclusion and accompany client on outings.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Support Worker in this 2:1 package.

The client is a young gentleman in his mid-20s who has cerebral palsy, and due to this, the client would require management of his PEG feed, medication and personal care.

He is an avid fan of taking trips to the cinema, shopping all whilst offering that vital social inclusion.
