Job summary

CCH Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a 2:1 package in Gravesend. The role involves managing PEG feed, medications, and personal care for a young adult client who uses a wheelchair. You will also drive the client’s mobility car and support outdoor activities.

Full training, DBS check, and career progression opportunities are provided. This is a values‑driven role in a care-focused team with a family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care would be essential.
• PEG feeding knowledge is required.
• Medication administration experience is required.
• Knowledge of Moving & Handling Equipment and eye gaze technology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage PEG feeding, medication and personal care for the client.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Drive the client’s vehicle as needed for appointments and outings.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Support Worker in this 2:1 package.

The client is a young adult who has cerebral palsy, and due to this, the client would require management of his PEG feed, medication and personal care, you will also be required to drive the client's vehicle as he has a mobility car and he is a wheelchair user.

He is an avid fan of Pokemon, exploring the outdoors and wildlife, shopping trips and watching YouTube videos.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care would be essential, especially in the following with the clinical inventions prior to be offered an interview with our package manager:

• PEG feeding
• Medication administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
• Knowledge of eye gaze technology
