Job summary

We are CCH, recruiting for a Support Worker in Gravesend to join a 2:1 complex care package. The role involves managing PEG feeding, medication administration and personal care, with driving duties for the client’s mobility car. Shifts are Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm, in a client-centered environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in complex care, be able to handle clinical tasks confidently and be comfortable in a people-friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential and we look for clinical skills relevant to the package.
• PEG feeding knowledge and safe medication administration are required.
• Ability to use moving and handling equipment and eye gaze technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage PEG feeding, administer medications, and provide personal care for a young adult client.
• Assist with mobility, transfer and use of equipment as needed.
• Drive the client’s vehicle for appointments and outings.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Support Worker in this 2:1 package.

The client is a young adult who has cerebral palsy, and due to this, the client would require management of his PEG feed, medication and personal care, you will also be required to drive the client's vehicle as he has a mobility car and he is a wheelchair user.

He is an avid fan of Pokemon, exploring the outdoors and wildlife, shopping trips and watching YouTube videos.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care would be essential, especially in the following with the clinical inventions prior to be offered an interview with our package manager:
