Main duties of the job

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging people to play active roles in their communities, supporting activities of daily living, communicating effectively using people's chosen methods, promoting and motivating people to enhance their quality of life, supporting individuals who may need positive behavioural support approaches, and keeping accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management. You will also be working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.

This service supports 4 ladies living with learning disability and complex needs on the outskirts of Melksham to live independently in their own home. Offering supporting living, encouraging and enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and accessing the local community & facilities. We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.
