Job description

The role of a Support Worker at Enable involves providing meaningful and person-centered support to individuals with complex needs, including those with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health challenges. The job is based in Devizes and the surrounding area, where you will work closely with clients to help them live as independently as possible, access the community, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals.

Main duties of the job

As a Support Worker, you will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role. You will be responsible for offering a range of support, including encouraging clients to play active roles in their communities, supporting activities of daily living, communicating effectively using the client's chosen methods, and promoting and motivating clients to enhance their quality of life. You may also need to provide positive behavioral support approaches for some clients. Accurate record-keeping and reporting changes in clients' health or circumstances to management are also important aspects of the role.

We are Seeking a caring, patient and motivated Support Workers to join our Outreach Team in Wiltshire

We support a number of clients in the local area who live in their own homes.You will be supporting our clients to live as independently as possible, helping them access community, build life skills, and achieve personal goals. you will work in a person centered way, promoting choice, dignity and inclusion at all times.
