Job summary

Agincare in Melksham is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help individuals with learning disabilities live independently and with dignity in their community. You will provide person-centred care, support routines and daily activities, and help people access outings and holidays.

The role emphasises compassionate, patient care and building trust, with full training up to QCF Level 5 and ongoing development within a values-led team.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn and build trust.
  • Experience or suitability for supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable.

Who you’ll support

You’ll be supporting multiple individuals with learning disabilities at our service in Melksham to thrive and live as independently as possible. You’ll help with personal care and daily routines, while building meaningful, lasting connections. From supporting days out in the community to holidays and new experiences,

You’ll ensure their care is truly person-centred, respecting their choices, promoting their safety and helping them do the things they love most.
