Job summary

Cygnet Willow House in Birmingham is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will work 42 hours per week on a mixture of days and nights, including some weekends, delivering compassionate physical and emotional support and promoting independence.

We are seeking someone with at least 1 year of experience in a learning disability or mental health setting, a caring communicator and a team player.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a support setting with learning disabilities and mental health.
• Excellent communicator and good team player.
• Driven to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and physical support to residents.
• Encourage independence and person-centred activities.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard residents and report welfare concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
