Job summary

Cygnet Willow House in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will work 42 hours per week across day and night shifts, including alternate weekends, providing compassionate care and support.

Qualifications

• Driven with a real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
• Experience in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health.
• Excellent communication and strong teamwork.

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard all patients and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our team working at Cygnet Willow House.

You’ll be working 42hours a week (days and nights from 07:45am/pm until 08:00pm/am, including alternative weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Willow House.

Willow House is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with learning disabilities complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Driven with a desire to make a real difference in people's lives
• Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities and mental health
• An excellent communicator and a good team player
• Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
• Passionate about empowering & supporting service user independence

Your day-to-day...
