Job summary

Potens Group is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker at Grange Mount, a supported living flat scheme in the heart of Birchand. We support up to 6 adults with needs including learning disabilities, mental health needs and challenging behaviours, helping them lead independent lives within the community.

The role involves waking nights (10 pm–8 am), four nights per week, with weekends and bank holidays. A minimum of one year’s social care experience is required; females only.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a social care setting.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude.
• Motivated and a team player.
• Female only due to the needs of the service.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and providing individuals with emotional and practical support.
• Personal care.
• Will involve lone working.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
• Participating in activities with the people supported both inside the service and in the community.
• Waking nights, 10 pm–8 am, four nights per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
