Job summary

Potens is seeking a motivated Support Worker for Larwood House in Kirkby in Ashfield. You will support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, participate in activities, assist with daily tasks, and provide personal care.

The role requires full flexibility with early, late, and night shifts, including possible sleep-ins and weekend work. We offer a pension scheme, confidential Employee Assistance Programme, and development opportunities from NVQ level 2 to level 5, plus Care

Qualifications

  • Experience in social care preferred but not essential.
  • Motivated and creative individual with a can-do attitude.
  • Team player with full flexibility for shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in activities and interests of the people we support.
  • Meet individual needs and assist with daily tasks.
  • Support cooking, cleaning and everyday routines.
  • Help increase confidence and everyday skills.
  • Provide personal care and one-to-one support when needed.

Job description

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Larwood House, located in Kirkby in Ashfield, is a registered residential care home for up to 9 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

What we’ll give you:

  • £13.00 per hour.
  • 35 hours per week. Shifts will include 7: 00 am to 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and waking nights 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. Sleep-in shifts may also be required, 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. Will involve weekend and Bank holiday working.

What you’ll be doing:
