Job summary

Potens Group in Syston is offering a Support Worker role at Roman Park, a 14-bed residential service for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

You will provide personal care, support residents to learn new skills towards independence, and take part in activities they enjoy. Shift patterns include early, day, evening slots, sleep-ins and weekend work. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a health and social care setting, preferably residential.

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Roman Park is a 14 bedded residential service in Syston where we support adults with learning disabilities and autism.

  • 35 hours per week.
  • Shift patterns will include 8am-3pm, 7am to 2pm, 2pm to 9pm, 8am to 8pm, 3pm-10pm, waking nights 8pm-8am. Sleep ins and weekend working required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing personal care.
  • Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
  • Shift patterns will include 8am-3pm, 7am to 2pm, 2pm to 9pm, 8am to 8pm 3pm-10pm, waking nights 8pm-8am. Sleep ins and weekend working required.
  • Occasionally the opportunity to accompany our residents on holidays abroad or in the UK may occur.
Who you are:
  • You will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a health and social care setting, preferably residential.
  • You will be a dedicated, passionate, kind, and caring person.
  • You will be flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Driver with a manual licence is preferred but not essential.
