Taff Housing Association is seeking a caring and compassionate Support Officer to join Ty Seren in Cardiff. You will help residents build independence by providing tailored support, fostering resilience, and promoting independent living skills in a psychologically informed environment.

We are looking for a caring and compassionate Support Officer to join our team at Ty Seren and support young people to make changes in their lives. By building positive relationships and taking a 'work with' approach, you'll help residents achieve their goals and take those next steps towards independence. The role can be challenging. We work in a psychologically informed way and aim to build resilience in trauma-affected people, which can bring up many difficult emotions. Every member of the team at Ty Seren brings their own unique personality, creating a supportive, inclusive and welcoming workplace like no other.
What you’ll do…
You'll provide tailored support to the residents of Ty Seren. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users in a psychological environment. To promote independent living skills with the goal of successful move on into independent accommodation.
