Job summary

WEBRECRUIT is helping a social enterprise recruit a Support & Integration Team Leader in the West Midlands. The role leads a team delivering resettlement support for refugees and migrants, ensuring safeguarding, high-quality practice and effective referrals.

You will develop the team, manage performance, and report on outcomes while collaborating with internal and external partners. The organisation offers flexible working, pension and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing frontline support in an advisory or guidance role.
  • Experience working with refugees and migrants.
  • Knowledge of support service standards and procedures.
  • Knowledge of UK institutions (local authorities, DWP, Home Office).
  • Knowledge of UK asylum system and resettlement programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee safeguarding, support planning, risk assessments and case management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver joined‑up support.
  • Complete reporting and quality audits, and update Salesforce CRM.
  • Undertake recruitment and performance management for your team.
  • Maintain your own caseload.

The Role

As a Support & Integration Team Leader, you will lead a team of support practitioners in the delivery of high‑quality resettlement support services for refugees and migrants.

Delivering the tailored support that refugees and migrants need to build independent and fulfilling lives, you will ensure high standards of support, safeguarding and tenant involvement are maintained.

You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the service whilst supporting and developing your team to ensure they can achieve their career goals whilst delivering for refugees and migrants.

Helping drive positive outcomes, you will ensure there are effective referral pathways, as well as monitoring service quality and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Additionally, you will:

  • Oversee safeguarding, support planning, risk assessments and case management
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver joined‑up support
  • Complete reporting and quality audits, and update information in Salesforce CRM
  • Undertake recruitment and performance management for your team
  • Maintain your own caseload
About You

To be considered as a Support & Integration Team Leader, you will need:

  • Experience providing frontline support in an advice or guidance role
  • Experience working with refugees and migrants
  • Knowledge of support service standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of UK institutions, including local authorities, the DWP and the Home Office
  • Knowledge of the UK asylum system and resettlement programmes
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure
