Job summary

Home Group in Scunthorpe is seeking a caring individual to support people with complex needs to live more independently. You’ll lead planning, coordinate Support Workers, and balance safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.

You’ll help customers with daily tasks, work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard, and support move‑on into the community. Travel across East Yorkshire is required; a valid license and business mileage cover, Enhanced DBS paid by us.

Qualifications

• Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.
• Ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.

• Salary £27,500 per year, plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and health cash plan worth over £1140

You have

The practical bits

• The role operates on a five-week rolling rota and includes a variety of shifts patterns, such as early shifts starting at 7am, late shifts finishing at 11pm, mid shifts, waking nights, and ocassional sleep-in shifts when required.
• The role requires regular travel across the East Yorkshire region, including services in Scunthorpe and Hull.
• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
• A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage
