Job summary

Home Group is seeking a compassionate support worker in Manchester to help people with complex needs live more independently. You’ll lead support planning, coordinate our Support Workers and deliver person-centred care across daily tasks and appointments.

You’ll balance safeguarding, admin and meetings while mentoring colleagues, managing caseloads, and working with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting others in housing is preferred.
• Ability to manage diary and time.
• Calm under pressure and initiative.

You have

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting.
• Ability to manage time well and manage own diary.
• The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.
• Ability to work dynamically within a fast-evolving service.

The practical bits

• You’ll work a varied shift pattern, including early, mid, and ate shifts, scheduled across 7 days of the week.
• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
