Job summary

Home Group is hiring a Support Worker in the UK to help customers live independently in the community, promoting dignity and practical support that improves lives.

You will be part of a six-person team delivering day-to-day care, encouraging independence and a respectful, safe environment for clients, including a large 50-bed homelessness service.

Qualifications

  • Passion to support customers to live their best lives.
  • Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm under pressure.
  • Driver with access to your own vehicle.

The practical bits
  • Week 1: 7:00am to 3:00pm (short week due to weekend working), Week 2: 11:00am to 7:00pm, and Week 3: 9:00am to 5:00pm, with one weekend in every three worked as 12-hour shifts.
  • You’ll work as part of a team of six full-time Support Workers.
  • You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
  • You need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle insured for business purposes
