Lead Support Worker - East Ipswich, Suffolk

Temporary until October 2025, full-time (37.5 hpw), rota working days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, including sleep-in shifts at an additional £50 per shift. Pay ranges from £13.21 to £13.63 per hour (£25,838 to £26,645 per annum), with great benefits including a Health Cash Plan.

About the role: Want to be part of a team that cares and empowers you to make a difference? As our Lead Support Worker (known as Coordinator), you'll support customers with complex mental health needs to develop skills for independent living. Your work will help customers achieve their hopes and aspirations, making a real impact every day.

Typical responsibilities include:
  1. Creating support plans with customers and coordinating a small team of Support Workers.
  2. Supporting customers with daily activities such as meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and transitioning to independent living.
  3. Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
  4. Engaging in conversations and building relationships with customers.
